It's all downhill from here :) I love these super long days for evening flying!

Re: Welcome to Summer

I measure the quality of life by how often I manage get out flying in the early mornings and late evenings of the summertime. I hope that you all get to fly often this summer. Cheers!

Re: Welcome to Summer

I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but summer is bringing lots of fires to my beloved Colorado.

Yeah, that is a downer. It rained here yesterday. I'd be happy if it never exceeded 80˚ F though.

Re: Welcome to Summer

It has been a very dry Spring Season. The entire Western US is/has been on high alert. I hope everyone takes precautions to prevent anymore fires, loss of property, and lives.

I have been checking the TFRs from ForeFlight... It is amazing the number of fires out there.

Re: Welcome to Summer

Washington has been getting a lot of rain from what I have seen on prog charts.. But, there have been destructive fires in Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico...etc. seems like a bad year for fires in general.
