Went to a Fly In

I attended Aviation Day in Wentachee, WA this past weekend. I was able to fly my uncle's plane from EPH to EAT where I parked next to a B-25. I put a lot of butts into the pilot seat of the plane during the day.

Anyway, the video takes us up over the hills west of Ephrata where I picked up Moses Coulee and followed it to where it runs into the Wenatchee River. At about the 2:00 mark the coulee comes into full view. Picture it full of raging water.

Indeed I'm very lucky. He restored some very cool planes when I was a kid.
20 years ago next month I took my check ride and was excited to call and surprise him.
Sadly he had just sold his T-28 because he couldn't keep a medical.

A few years ago he horse traded into this BT-13 and he needed someone to fly it. Reluctantly, I accepted.
