What are the best C182 sites?
Technical and practical discussion about specific aircraft types such as Cessna 180, Maule M7, et al. Please read and search carefully before posting, as many popular topics have already been discussed.
The Cessna Pilots Association has a good publication.
I've used tech assist for a collapsing bladder problem. They didn't know the cause (I eventually did- 182 fuel vent too close to strut fairing after an annual, created vacuum, sucked all fuel out of right side in no time flat). But they were helpful.

I have a 1959 182 but it is on wheels and I don't have any mods, it is pretty much original with the 0-470 cont. engine. It has served me well and I have flown into the back country with it. It does a good job anyway I think it does.

The most important thing you can do to a 182 to make it do almost anything you want is to learn how to fly it. No mod can make up for poor piloting.
