In my case Last week I flew up to WEED,Ca. International and hair care center >stayed over at Tim Avery hostel and spa. On way to Weed from my base in Southern Nevada -near Paurump -climbing up at 9500 msl got REALLY GOOD LOOK at Boeign 737 of Southwest Airlines off my nose /left (going opposite direction)at about couple hundred yards ! When i got Weed wind was howling so elected to stay there rather than go over 9 miles to Tim's. Return to BVU was nice (except for starter going AWOL at Yerrington 043) with high ground speeds and smooth air. When I put airplane in hanger went home and recovered from trip. Yesterday while replacing starter found that Fuel selector was leaking a few drips underneath . Drained fuel into containers (at $5.70 a gallon -not on floor) -today I'm going over to North Las Vegas Airport to get seals for fuel selector and fix it.
Last night went to Boulder City ,NV for meeting on airport -all is held at bay for at least 90 days while they rewrite there (Airport Manager) want for "renegotiate hanger lease " for hanger lease's.I rent my hanger on month to month (I've been there 8 years ) and could or would move if these restrictions were ever to take effect.
