Re: What's wrong with this picture?

One advantage of my job, there usually is a cop around when you want one, so I asked an ISP major about drawing bigger wheels on the license plate. His answer was 1: ANYTHING that alters or obscures a license plate is technically illegal, including mud and bug splat, 2: most cops won't notice it anyway, 3: if they did they would just have a good laugh at it. 4: if they had you pulled over for something serious and were looking for more charges against you (the drug dog was on it's way, comercial vehicle safty inspection, etc.) it would be one more nail in your coffin when they finished writing it up.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?

Showed up in the mail today. Maybe I'll bolt it on the Cessna to use as my OHV plate out here on BLM and USFS land.

Plane kind of looks like a pa-11 or pa-18 to me. Nice souvenir.

Hey, GUMP and Jolly Rancher-Very cool!
If I could think of something either cool or clever, I would join you!

I'll keep trying....
lc

I thought of "BOYCOTT WA"- but that is too long.....
(I love our corrupt governor/and other elections.... NOT!)

Well, I thought and thought, and finally came up with something appropriate (well, ok, maybe not particularly cool or clever, but appropriate will do).
Drum Roll, Please.......
A souvenir Aviation "CUB" plate is on its way to me. :)
Well, maybe a little 8) ....

Sounds like only the cool people get to have 'em!!!!!

Pat, instead of paying $140 for real plates, you shoulda got a souvenir plate for $30 and just stuck your cheap regular tags on it.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?

Do we 'know' that our souvenir plate is a 'One off'?
In other words they won't sell one like mine or GUMP's to anyone else since it is just a 'souvenir' plate?

I gotta know if I am at least 'special' one way..... :)

Sunday(next day): I ordered "FLY ME"
I couldn't help myself. I checked to see if it was available-and it was.
I checked "FLYID", and it is available as of now (I liked "FLYME" better.)
