Which tire set up for 206?

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Which tire set up for 206?

I know this is in here somewhere but its hard for me to find exactly what I'm looking for. If you know of a thread to reference me to that'd be great. If not...
What's the best oversize tire setup for a 206 landing mostly pavement due to necessity but still good for playing offroad In moderate conditions? 10" wheel; 6"?? Also if anyone has a landis fork they'd like to part with as well let me know. Ill post a separate deal on that as well.

8.50 X 10 mains and 8.50 X 6 on the nose in Landis fork. Since the STC from Landis says all tires have to be the same size, a field approval for the combination may be in order, YMMV.

There are a bunch of cheap used Landis forks out there but most of them can't be used. It has to be beyond a certain serial number before Airglas will sell you the STC. Check with them, they'll fill you in. If you're in any sort of a hurry then most likely you'll have to pony - up for a new one.

The 10 inch wheel from AK Bushwheel is the way to go on the mains. Gar Aero adapters work fine too but no STC, so more paperwork to use them.

I have a 337 for 29" Gar Aero's on a 1964 206 with an Airglas nose fork and 8.50 nose wheel. The aircraft has been exported to Bolivia so, the paperwork is just funny looking art that I haven't thrown away. All yours if it'd help.
