Pops, palm trees loose their awesomeness when the are planted around every farm house in every field you gotta spray
But our 320 days of summer are finally over and the best flyin time of the year is here =D> Extra rooms in the house, and a pilot shack at the strip, any time you feel like thawing out. Things get slow here mid Dec, through mid Jan. Lots of malpai flats, mesa s , and islands on the river too... We don't do much by the books, or in an orthodox fashion, tho...
Mikes (Morris) uncle Ron from Orovada keeps a trailer at my strip and usually shows up around thanksgiving for the winter, judging by your pics he oughta be here anytime now...
Does Joe still head towards Phx around new years? Tell him to lookk me up if he gets out here this year.

Take care, Rob

I'll tell him Rob, I do think he's coming down. He told me that he had a real blast flying with you down there a couple years ago, and you guys hit some really fun spots. I've got a couple more years then lookout, I'm gonna get on the end of a V and follow those geese down there every winter.

Don't worry about doing it by the books, or being orthodox for me, landing a 45 mph crosswind up on top is probably not all that orthodox either.. ha ha
