AZ winters are definitely great flying. Our group of four Huskies and one SC met some UT friends and locals-9 Huskies and 1 SC at Alamo Lake Sunday. Warm sunshine, dirt strip & restaurant; great stuff.
Motown is fun but gets a little crazy- still fun.

Rob, whereabouts in AZ are you?
I know some people who lived on an airpark near me,
they started out wintering in Wickenburg & ended up moving there full time.
I'm from So Cal and don't know that I'd want to live in AZ in the summertime,
but spending the winters down in warm & dry country would be pretty nice.

I couldn't agree more. Those were some good times.

Hey buddy. My home is in Surprise. Hangar is at the Glendale airport. The whole area is just exploding with people. That's because it isn't California. Politics is a big reason.
Cheers...Rob

Headed to southern AZ in a couple of weeks to visit my 2 daughters. While there I may look at a few airpark communities. Not many more years that I will be spending all winter in MN. Time to be a snowbird, and will be wanting a place with easy flying access.
I've looked in TX, New Mexico and AZ so far. Might even consider NV.

Hey Rob,
I'm workin' on a deal in El Paso. Hangars are cheap and plentiful! We should meet up. Dropped in on Scalywag a couple months ago - flyin' is great down there in the winter.

Hey Greg, I hope you are well. Congrats on getting a winter place. A meet up sometime would be cool.
Cheers...Rob
