One of the other video's on this site has the turbo Beaver shown.
A few years back at the Maule fly in at J'Creek there was a turbine Beaver on amphibs ( different paint job). He gave a ride to a couple and their gear after they had a prop strike. With three people on board and all their gear, the Beav did a straight out departure over the mountain with no turns.
A Pilatus ( P-12 I think ) did the same with a family of about five and all their gear.
There is no substitute for horsepower.
