Workhorse

I uploaded my first video in some time this last week. The Forest Service Beaver flew over the house as he was doing some touch and goes at the airport so I ran over to shoot some of his tiny-tire crosswind gymnastics on the pavement. Jeremy is a great stick and flies a Super Cub of his own.

Shot with my iPhone but edited with some extra enthusiasm. The title is a little lofty and someday I hope to make a bigger and better video about the "Workhorse."

Excellent! Looks a little 'sporty'!

If only I had been 40 years younger and smarter when that job was posted!

Is the Beaver associated with a single forest, or shared in a region, or national?

I think they're mostly dedicated to the Superior National Forest up here. Here's a recent article on them.

Nice. I visit some folks in the Superior Forest office. I'll see if I can drop in for a visit to see it on floats next summer when we are up again. I didn't have a clue when we were just up there.

I call BS... his name's probably not Zane, he probably just does this web jazz as a mental escape from a mega hitting career as a cinematographer. Probably joined at the hip with some powerhouse like Taylor Sheridan making millions and hot seating his EC 145 after getting out of his G800.

Who is this Zzz fella anyway?

Re: Workhorse

We lived in Virginia for about a year back when I flew commuters out of Hibbing. If I could have afforded an airplane with wheels skis and floats we may have never left. I was always jealous of the USFS pilots flying in the Boundary Waters. Must be August or something as the snow isn't that deep yet. Thanks for the memories.
