Would you consider??

Every time I am on here there seems to be a very interesting aviation photo on the Home page with a little caption. Would you please consider a link that would give a little / or much more information.... such as a while ago there was a C180 or maybe C185 on hydraulic wheelskis. It would have be intersting to know more about the set-up. What year and model, ski info., location, etc. Today the Maule on the ice in Maine. Looks like a cool place but where in Maine? Local restaurants, bars... overnight accomadations.

Otherwise, keep up the good work, it's a great place to be when it's -20

If there already is a link that I am missing, a greatly apologize but how do I get to it.

Thanks, have a great New Year.

You aren't missing anything, I just pick out photos that I think are good and cycle them on the homepage. I haven't added any new ones in a while.

If you want more info on the photo, take note of the photographer noted in the caption, then either look up their photo gallery or PM them for details.

Perhaps in the future I'll link the photo to the actual gallery pic.

Z,

Thanks for the repsonse and suggestion and please don't take it as a complaint. I really do enjoy the opportunity to visit the site. FYI, I googled Menendez, Maine and came up with nothing, Google Earth again nothing, my road atlas, the same. Now I'm real curious because it must be "small / quiet" place with a strip right there. I will find it.

Menendez777 is the user who took the photo. He is a member on this site, you can Private Message him for more info if you like.

Thanks for the compliments, glad you enjoy. :)
