Looking for a used wood propeller that would be suitable for decoration purposes. Wanting a prop that isn't too long, maybe in the 50-70" range. Wanting a real propeller that has seen actual use and has some character, not a replica. If you have and old one sitting around that may work send me a PM. Thanks!

We have a prop hanging in our hallway. Were lucky enough to have one donated to us from a friend in Alberta, it came out of his father-in-laws barn who were not airplane people. They said there is the remains of an old plane that crashed on the property (maybe in the 40's), but did not know if it had belonged to it (I doubt it, since the prop is intact). It is around 84 inches in length, if anyone has any thoughts as to what it may have come off of, I would appreciate hearing. Good luck on your search Scott. Steve

I know there are some wood prop enthusiasts there in nampa that might have some leads...if only I could remember their names.

Once I wandered through a hangar in Payette that had a ton of old wood props stacked all over, don't remember that guys name either.

I got a factory second Sensenich wooden propeller for my wall for around $250. Its beautiful, laminated wood, with brass strips on the leading edge. Just checked and they are in the Wag Aero catalog, price has gone up to $500.
