Snow conditions on Lake Bemidji are good it's just the temps I will be having a problem with. Below my minimums. This is fcst temps Saturday: Partly sunny and cold and blustery, with a high near -6.

The temps will be a little tough for me on saturday--the -30 they are talking about for Sat. night is not for me!!

I can't make it regardless, my 6 year old has a Hockey game at 10:45.

Yes, we did get them mounted up on the plane last year, thanks to your pictures. Wipaire was more interested in selling a new set than helping our guy get them rigged, but it all worked out. Yes, it would be fun to meet up somewhere one nice day.

We could only get them to work with the 7.00 tires, is that what you have on?

Lancef53 I have the little girly tires. Would like to put 8.50's on but
don't know if changing out wheels to put the skies on is
wherth it. I should find some cleveland wheels and try it.
Your right wip is not intrested in supporting the old skies.
They had some left over parts, not much I got the last pump
handel I think. I'll look you up when the weather gets better.

I wish that wipaire would decide to get in or get out, they can't seem to make up their mind. When I was searching for parts, they didn't have much available. I talked to several sources for used pieces, and several of them mentioned someone in Alaska had approached them about making up some new parts. Wipaire turned them down, and refuse to release any drawings.

I can understand not allowing anyone to use the drawings if wip planned to make some parts, but I don't think they will ever make any parts.

Oh well, I got them rigged up so I should be good to go now.

BJI WX for Sat.... Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 6. Wind chill values as low as -16. North northwest wind between 8 and 11 mph.

Snow conditions is 10" compacted base with 3-4 inches fresh fluff on top, no slush. Skis only no wheels. In the photo I linked the landing area we used is north/south on the east side of the fishing derby which looks like spokes and a wheel. As of today 1/14 there is virgin snow on the east side of the event. There will be a large gray fishhouse with a BSU flag flying close to the east edge. His name is Scott and you may warm up in there. He is expecting airplanes. I have other plans... Take photos
