Transient parking for wheel planes at the north end of the Hood strip. No fees for a couple days parking.

There are a couple right behind the fuel tank on Lake Hood, then if you taxi around the lake towards International there is a couple of rows of transient parking there.
No charge for a few days parking.
I have a KAW. Vulcan parked at a friends house about 1/2 mile walk from the tiedowns, if you need a car I can come up with one of those for you also.

Thanks for all the great information. I'll probably try to pick your brains as more questions arise. Got my 300 Weatherby sighted in yesterday, and have a long packing list too. We are flying out of Spokane on August 4th for Mackenzie, BC then parts north, "real north".

James, With you in mind I tried to buy the 4 AK bags from bcdpilot, but missed it by 20 minutes while at work. I already have two bags that you can use (if it wasn't you who beat me to the sale!) Will you be at JC flyin or come south to Boise for anything else before your Aug departure?

Hey Matt,
I can't make it to JC this year. I'll be in Kooskia, Idaho fighting over some family land with blood-sucking realtors, an evil uncle similar to Mr. Burns on the Simsons, my mother in law and a lawyer. Wish me luck!

Anyway I think I'll do fine with my plastic cans but really appreciate the offer. I was just down in Boise last week giving a "special medical" flight test out at Mt. Home. Sorry I missed you.
