Temperature here went up 7C (13F) in an hour, so something's happening. All you kayakers already know that Solander Island is not the place to be, any time of year.

The anemometer next to my hangar recorded a gust of 67 knots this last weekend. That type of weather is nearly impossible to be outside in. That rain had a sting we will never forget! If you do go on deck, wear eye protection!!! $#/t can fly out of nowhere with that kind of wind.

Not too bad over in South East Alaska tonight:
Lynn Canal is recording South winds of (30) knots sustained and the “Green #35” can bouy (Morris Reef) is (34) knots sustained. Much different than my last Summer in Gustavus flying the amphibious seaplane! It was totally glassy dude back in 2017.
