At least two 200 lb UAVs and display of that research

Food Truck serving Cajun style with something for every taste

Sheriff and CHP. maybe Life Flight/Calstar,
no army again this year: "can not meet the public" (maybe a simulated rescue training)

Old cars, hot rods, electric vehicles and motorcycles.

TWO weeks after the High Sierra Flyin, and ONE week after Mustangs at Nut Tree, so everyone should be rested.

Warning: Paved Runway, no grass (Yet), If you need to scrape the asphalt off, there maybe an 1000 ft dirt strip southeast of KEDU.

This is also listed in the event section, but no hits

Bump: KEDU Open House this Satuday.

I have a heavy heart, but the show goes on. Let the Davis community the value of general aviation.

The photos of the High Sierra flyin are great. Looking forward to seeing those BCP'ers that can come.

Re: 12th Annual OPEN HOUSE:University Airport, Davis, CA

OK: the KEDU OPEN HOUSE is going on regardless of the weather!

Thanks to those of you who plan to attend. Be careful on the road or in the air.

The weather guessers are all over the place, but all indicate it will be wet and/or windy at times on Saturday.

This is a hard place to guess weather, other than it is never too bad, or too annoying. for too long.
But this is the time, and we are ready, so the event is on.

If wet out, movies will be shown is the "Space Lab" hangar, and the simulators will be up and running.
Bring any neat DVDs you might want to show. I am looking for my set of Big Rocks and Long Props DVDs. (The students running computer design programs on controls should like that)

The food truck assures me she will be there: great Cajun mac & cheese, with a kid friendly version, and many more good dishes. The Sheriff Squadron will have kettle corn.

Not looking good here either. Ron Dupratt Ford is hosting a trunk or treat that my club is participating in. If it's raining I'm not taking out the Mustang or the Avid. If it's iffy I'll be Dixon with the car. Got in an awesome late afternoon flight today in the Avid out playing.

Report: 12th Annual OPEN HOUSE:University Airport, Davis, CA

A little windy, but a great turn out, given the way the way the days weather started.

Beautiful blue sky after the rain stopped about 9:30. A nice day.

Calstar helicopter and crew was a big hit, especially with the kids.

Not as many visitors as last year, but we made a good impression for general aviation on quite a few people and their kids.
Which was the purpose.

We well do it again
