182 vs 206 nose fork/strut

Looking for some help here. Wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference between a '73 C182 nose fork/strut and a '69 nose fork/strut? Looking specifically for the standard fork, not the HD.
Thanks in advance.

David,

Pull the parts manuals and compare part numbers. My guess is the inner piston and fork are the same.

Standard fork that is for a 500x5 wheel and tire are the same on a just about all the 100 series and 200 series non retractable nose wheel airplanes. Off hand I cannot think of any that are different. A lot of the tubes were of different length.

Parts manual shows different numbers. I dont have a standard fork from a 206 to compare to the 182 one that I have, hence then question.
The 182 and 172 show different numbers too, but they look identical...

Tim, thanks. Tires are the same, but are the forks the same that you know of?
Thanks.

I have never seen a different fork from 150, 152, 172, 175, 182, 205, and 206. Not sure about the not retractable 177 Cardinal

Take a walk around a busy airport and take a look at all the forks. The early early fork did not have little gussets cast int the fork. They did that a bit later. I have only seen one fork without the gussets. Most were changed out.

Thanks Tim. That was our idea as well. I kno from the 150 to the 182s all look the same. Just can't find part numbers to back that up. All my parts books list fork/strut assemblies, or fork kits. But none list just the standard fork number.
Thank fo the help guys.
