Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Looks great! An old friend of mine that used to fly lots of charters in 195's said the best thing about the crosswind gear is to kick it sideways when taxiing so you can see ahead better. Other than that, he said it was a big PIA. I think I have a set for a 170 somewhere around here......

Re: 195 flight Tampa FL / Nevada / 63S WA.

Hi All
Weather is going to make some decisions I think.
Finally got the 195 more than 500' off the ground today about 100 miles from Paris TX. Has been some great scud from Tamp to here!?!
Had a littl eover 2 inch's rain last night and hellufa storm last night.
20-30 kts all day to Paris??
Looks like I spent some of Neils money and purchased that tcraft for him.
Actually is a pretty nice little bird, 85 hp and cub wings and struts and landing gear.
Weather looks like it is going to make us go up the east side of the big rocks.
Will be leaving here to Guyman, then to CO Springs. Maybe find you guys who hang around there tomorrow.
Will look at weather from there and see where it takes us, would like to go west and catch up with some of the Nevada outlaws!!! We;ll see how the winds blow tomorrow.
Thanks all
N1LE is just getting better as I learn a little more about her!!!

George, you have my cell number. I left you a voice mail on how to get a hold of me at work during the day. Should be no problem to stick your plane in my hangar.

Was nice to see you and Deb yesterday GT. Thanks for letting me hop up in the pilot's seat to take a look around. Sure is a nice bird. I think Tadpole and I were both scratching our heads when you went down the runway sideways. Hopefully that was planned. Thanks for the show departing in the downwind. That radial sure sounded sweet.

Re: 195 flight Tampa FL / Nevada / 63S WA.

Made it home tonight,
Spent last night in Casper WY. Lost the Generator on the way there so took a look this morning.
Had a bit of a problem but figured out how to get home so flew off past Cody then on to Boseman MT for fuel and a charge.
Headed to Pullman for a little auto fuel then home.
Will put some times in tomorrow, think I'm going to get some sleep.
Thanks again

That is a sweet-looking bird. I really liked the colors when I saw it for sale on Barnstormers or TAP (I think?) and thought to myself, maybe...? =P~ Then reality kicked in

GT,
Glad to hear the trip went well. We're part-time neighbors, down the river at Seven Bays. Did we meet at Gene Cada's place a few years back? Anyway, I'll look forward to catching up with you somewhere out there on the "Northern Reach".
