I've owned N185BS since 2009. She's a bit special. Officially a 1973, owned by Cessna as test bed for any and all attachments and then re-manufactured in 1979 to 1979 specs.
She's had a long history, US, then worked on floats in Canada, re-imported, wrecked at Mexican Mountain, then rebuilt open checkbook by Beegles in Greeley before coming into my care.
Its got wet wing tanks, 88 total gallons, 84 useable, with 2 gas caps. They are righty loosy/ lefty tighty.
Any ideas? Never gotten a solid explanation. And don't tell me wit was for Australian export.
Love it if anyone can solve the mystery.
