2 headsets 1 jack?
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Is there anyway to plug 2 headsets unto one jack? A splitter or something? Just curious for the rear seat...
Thanks

Headphone splitter will work fine. Don't know about the mic.

My experience (albeit on video players, not aviation headsets) is that the volume dropped significantly when I used a splitter.
You might have enough volume to compensate, but on the video players I used to watch on airplanes with my kids it was always a challenge.

It's for my back seat. Will a portable intercom interfere with my panel mounted intercom? I'll have to run to town and see if I can find some splitters. They should be easy enough to find.

What kind of intercom do you currently have, and are you adding a third or fourth seat? If you allready have an intercom that supports another channel it's really easy to add one. Also for a more permanent solution you can buy another set of jacks and some tefzel and just piggyback your current jacks.

I'm not 100% sure what the intercom is, and my plane is not home right now. Pretty sure it's just a 4 place. I have 4 jacks, but sometimes I have 3 people on the rear bench of the 180 and it'd be nice for them all to be able to use headsets...

I have only a two person intercom. I made a splitter cable for the sound jack from the PAX side only and it works fine. My wife usually rides in the back and reads. She was a little hesitant when I explained that she could hear but not talk. Some might say this was ideal:)
