Wow, that music was obnoxious. The lyrics are not appropriate here. Ruined an otherwise good video.

Speaking as someone who has spent many hours trying to create and contribute content to this conmunity, I would say this comment was dissapointing to see,

In general, I have become saddened with the ratio of takers to contributers here. This used to be a really rich bed of creativity and contribution, but I fear the noise of the peanut gallery is slowly choking it off.

As an artist, I genunily appreciate the courage it takes to create something and push it into the public eye, so from my standpoint, I'm greatful you took the time to shoot, edit, and share. Its for sure a bunch of work. Many thanks!

I dug the vid!

While I respect my elders and their opinions, I loved the video and the music. Any departure from the norm in flying videos gets my applause.

Music driven videos I have found to be a touchy subject in this community simply due to people's taste. I enjoy all different kinds of music and I believe the music someone puts in their videos reflects the vibe someone is trying to portray.

I say keep doing your thing. Ill keep watching!

You guys act like you can cure a stodgy and cantankerous inability to work a mute button with a few heartfelt sentences. Go read a few YouTube comments and you'll want to shoot yourself.

I'd much rather hear a narrative than music.

When are you going to give us a "like" button?

I enjoyed the video. Not my first choice of lyrical content for personal listening, but I liked the beat of the music combined with the scenery and clips. Like Evan said, I'm a fan of departures from the norm. Watching the "same" videos over and over again gets old.

The cool thing about opinions is that we each get to have one. And if you feel strongly about your opinion, you can create something that fits your opinion to share with the world!

I just don't think the words nigger and pussy and the sex descriptions are appropriate for this website. This soundtrack is not the kind of "creativity and contribution" that enhances what was an otherwise fantastic video. I get the artistic thing, I really do but when one uses a sound track with this kind of language and posts to a site like this I feel is inappropriate . Im sorry Big Rena if my comment disappointed you, I just don't see the artistic value of this kind of language in this fellows video when associated with airplanes and beautiful scenery and posted on a site like this.

Great work. I'm new to the world of editing, I have a new appreciation for things well done. Please keep them coming.

As to the music...it's what the creator feels that fits. It's not anywhere on my iTunes, but If you listen to the content....there is a newness and innocence to the story that is in stark contrast to the abrupt words used. A range of emotion and responses; kind of like flying, relationships and life. I'm a conservative guy, but I have a broad definition of art. Anything used to express a feeling or emotion. It works for me.

Re: 2 PA-18s, 1 SuperStol, 1 Wag-Aero Sportsman

I really appreciate the feedback good and bad! In the future I will add a note if there is any explicit content so you can mute it up front.

The Beringer gear is interesting, I am not a good enough pilot to really put it through the paces. The gear acts more like SuperSTOL gear does, the plane 'feels' less stable to me through high speed turns, as the wings will droop significantly more than on standard gear. Another pilot who flew it was impressed with its ability to get through some larger dips or rougher strips in the takeoff/landing rolls. It requires more attention in the sense that you will need to pump up the shocks and they wont hold the pressure forever (this specific set of gear required additional air multiple times in our time with it.) Overall, I wasn't disappointed or blown away. So there's your non-answer.

Thanks again for all of the feedback.

Re: 2 PA-18s, 1 SuperStol, 1 Wag-Aero Sportsman

AWESOME video! I loved the title, the flying, filming, editing and the sound track! Among the best stuff I've seen here. I hope you're not like me in that negative energy closed minded comments tend to make me just go away. Clearly you are a lot more talented and artistic than I am so maybe you'll stick around. Frank Zappa said; "Without deviating from the norm progress is not possible". I fly practically every day and this clip makes me want to go fly right now! (It's raining). I don't listen to a lot of Hip Hop, (I'm old as shit), but putting that soundtrack behind the amazing cinematography makes me want to listen to more! (Course I'd go Old Skool like Sugarhill Gang or Grandmaster Flash, since EVERYONE KNOWS all the new stuff is total shit!) Thanks for posting that, it made my day!

Pinejuice, You created, in all aspects, a stunning video, I don't want my comments on your selection of the soundtrack to overshadow that. Your footage and editing is some of the best I have ever seen here. I was disappointed in the lyrics in the soundtrack, that being said, I get it, if you are comfortable with it then so be it, its your creation, looks like many here have no problem with it. Once again, stunning video, great job.

Its easy enough to turn the audio down, and just watch the pretty pictures. That's what I do with soundtracks I don't care for.
