2010 BACKCOUNTRY PILOTS FLY-IN
Get together with other pilots or enthusiasts. Plan it or get info about it here.
I think it is not too early to start plans for the 2010 summer fly-in. An advantage to planning early is that maybe more people can plan ahead and attend the fly-in.
I think our last few years at Johnson Creek have been great. If it were up to me, we would do it again the last weekend of June ( 25-27) at Johnson Creek. I do not think there is any other place that can handle large groups as well. I would ask Mark and Kitty to host the potluck again. They did such a great job organizing it and there was a lot of great food. I would ask Rob to do the beer thing, take pictures and do the communication. He also did a great job.
Whoever reserved Johson Creek for that weekend maybe could reserve it again. I know there are other groups that would like that weekend. The weather had been excellent for us. I forgot who reserved it but thanks.
I would like to see input from those that attended or will attend next year. We can have just as much or more fun next year. We even had the ice cream truck stop. It tasted great.
THESE ARE THE GOOD OLE DAYS.

We vote for Johnson Creek for your time stated, the sooner someone reserves it the better! We had a great time!

I can tell you for sure the supercub.org group would never step on your date. That would be bad karma. We are planning our 2010 gathering on June 18th, 19th, 20th, 2010. If that is a conflict with you guys we'll step aside.

I'm in. I second everything Dick said.
To make sure we get a consensus I feel we should do the poll thing again. Just to be on the safe side. I would bet JC will win again.
I think we should call our fly in the BackcountryPilot/MaulePilots Fly in. BCP/MP for short.
My only complaint was I didn't get to spend the rest of the week there with Butch and Don.
Cheers...Rob

It looks like "whee" made the reservation for this year. Marty (maulemaniac) also offered to set up the res. Hopefully one of them will chime in.

One of those "M" planes. When I want to go fast I wish I was in a Mooney. When I load my mt bike and it is rough, I'm glad I fly a Maule.

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4100I have started the poll everyone!
It has location, Date and ye or ne on a potluck saturday. Don't look at the Percentage of votes but the number of votes per item to see which is winning
