2012 Fly-in at Johnson Creek, ID (Plane/Head Count!)

Okay everyone I need to get a plane/head count prior to the event! We can keep comments in the other JC topic this is just a poll! I repeat this is just a poll! I'm sorry I didn't put an option for those that aren't going. I hope you can next year!

POLL only if you are coming to JC ! If you feel there is a 51% chance you're going then put down how many of each! You have 2 options!! Plane(s) Person(s). Btw Dogs aren't persons, although mine think so at times and they may take up enough weight to count as one! haha

Also If the other person in your group is on this site & is going to vote for themselves...please don't vote for them!!!

And one more plug! If you see this at the bottom of the page please give it a "Bump" back to the first page! Or if we can get a sticky Matt or Zane! :)

Not going to make it.
Was there the 25th through the 29th (Memorial Day Weekend).
Rained every day... While setting up camp to breaking it down.
Still had a great time.
Phil and Roxy do a great job Caretaking.
Glad you got the Mooney back together.

You and Jesse have fun.

So this will be our first year, someone said you all had 120+ planes last year?? What are you anticipating this year? Thanks to all for organizing it, sounds like a super time!

I could be wrong, but I don't think that count was that high...more likely 90-100. Still busy though. Anyone every get a semi-official count? Look forward to seeing you there!

I think you are right, 90-100 planes. Was a good time but busy.

92 to be exact. I counted the line during the pot luck. With good weather, I have no doubt that we will break 100 this year.

Super, 90+ planes would be a very successful turnout. I was just a bit worried when only 40 or so have responded to the survey but I expect lots more will show with no response, sure looking forward to it

I'm sure we will probably get double whatever this poll shows.

Why do you want to know how many are coming?

I'm suppose to report it to the caretakers if it's a drastic change. Which I can only report what I have here, not what really shows up! I estimated around what we have as a head poll... probably give them a heads up!

You'll enjoy the drive. If your not familiar with the area. May I suggest a stop at Landmark if you like to check out airfields? It's a really nice area up there and it is just past the road you take north to Yellow Pine off of Warm Lake Rd. If you take a right just before Johnson Creek (the river), that road kinda runs along the creek for a few miles. There are some parking/camp area's along the river to take a lunch break. Absolutely breath taking scenery!

To get to Landmark Airstrip, just cross the river and the road will take you to the airstrip.

Have fun!

I want to go but my plane (ex's plane, negotiating a rental deal) is out of annual and I seemed to have squandered all my money. :? I might drive since I am not sure I will live in this country too much longer.

Skytruck,

Introducing the environmentally friendly M-14P powered PZL 104 Wilga 35P.

Yes, it leaks like a lactating mule. But wait! We keep the ground under the Beast clean with these handy 'EPA Cans'.

(M-14P's normally leech as much as 1.5 liters of oil between flights)

Why own a Wilga? Duh! They kick ass!
