Remember the wonderful tents and chairs we had last year for the pot luck?

Well I may have screwed the pooch on this one.

I have been in contact with Dave from SuperCub.org I told him last year we would pay for them this year. He came back and said they are paid for and will be left for us AGAIN. I really appreciate this. SC.org is a class act.

So 2 weeks ago I am in Yellow Pine which is where the tents come from, the town owns them. I wanted to some how help SC.org pay for them. INSTEAD I am informed that the tents will be gone after SC.org fly in and if we want them it is $200.00

I don't know if games are being played or not but I took it up on myself to insure the tents will be there for us. I assume the tables and chairs also. Dawn Brown is in charge for Yellow Pine. She said they will be left after SC.org for us if we pay. I said yes.

I feel the people of Yellow Pine treat us great and this is a good way to help the town. I will be asking for donations at the flyin to cover the cost. It will be $2.00 a head for 100 people. If I don't get enough and I doubt I will I will cover the difference.

Lets assume you get way more donations than the needed $200.00. Could the surplus be donated to the JC donation box? No excuse to not pitch in then.

If you can afford to come to the fly in, IMHO you can afford 2 bucks for the tables and several more bucks for the donation box. Don't be a tight ass.

Rest assured if I get more than $200 it will go into the JC donation box. Ear marked for JC. I know that doesn't mean much I have been told it all goes to Idaho Department of Aviation. That's ok. Great state with the right attitude towards back country flying.

Will you be at JC this year Tim? If it rains the tents, tables, and chairs are a God send. If it is sunny the 40' of tables is sweet.

I got it Cory. One of my favorites. There is actually some good take off procedural advice in the movie.

Thanks for handling this Rob! I know there was a bit of confusion over this last year and they're a great addition to the fly-in. (It's nice to have more places to sit for wifi access too.)
