Does anyone know if the Father's Day Fly-in is taking place again this year at SC? I don't see it listed on Aeronautic's calendar or on any other fly-in search.

Smiley Creek is scheduled for July 13 - 15, and the fall fly-in at Huntington will be Sept. 28 - 29. We will send notes out on these as they get a little closer.

Thanks Russ. Usually it shows on Idaho's Division of Aeronautics calendar and it wasn't there. Time to start making plans and just wanted to make sure that it was still going to happen. Anyone up in ID that might know someone on the Magic Valley Flyers, maybe you can get some first hand info.

So I emailed Rob at UBCP trying to find some contact info on Smiley Creek when he pointed out to me that their site says July, not June. I missed that. I'm looking for info on the Father's Day fly-in that usually takes place in June. I think that the group called Magic Valley Flyers usually helped put it on, but am not certain.

So, if any southern Idaho people on here have any idea of who usually puts it on or whether or not it is happening this year, please post some info. I'm guessing that it must not be happening, but would like to find out one way or another for sure. If not, I guess we'll go do our own fly-in some place else for Father's Day.

There is the IAA Fathers day fly-in at Garden Valley. I'm too remember a fathers day event at Smiley but can't remember who put it on.

I didn't catch that what Russ posted, and the last post, had a July date. Not June which is when Father's Day is. Whee got me last year's contact info and I am waiting to hear back from him. I'm guessing that it isn't happening since there is no info on it. Too bad, it was a fun fly-in.

I got this email from our local FBO that I'm sure they were asked to circulate. Looks like they are doing it this year, just a little late getting the word out. Of course, now other plans have been made, but maybe some of you might want to go.
