If you go north out of Terrace towards Dease Lake check out MT Edziza There are some cinder cone volcanos there.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for the information. The routing is a bit far for me. But, may see Mount Edziza another flight when I have more time. I never get burnt out looking at volcanos! We have an active volcano in Hawaii too.

And to see the prettiest part of BC, turn right at Bella Bella as you're going up. The Dean and Burke Channels take you right into Fantasyland.

Hi Gump!

Thank you for the heads up! Skeena River is unreal too! Who needs Yosemite Valley?

I had no idea this place is so wonderful.

Will post some more cool pictures... Waiting for customs at PAKT right now...

Great photos!! Keep them coming. I'm hoping to tour around BC in Sept Before I go home. Not the same as flying, I know, but I'm really looking forward to it. :D

Hi Noel,

Exploring with the seaplane here a couple of days and then will be heading South back to Oregon. Alaska and BC are wonderful, I have been treated very well on this trip by everyone. And the mighty Scout is exceeding expectations!!

Make sure to send me your itinerary! Would like to reciprocate the hospitality if you stop by.

No itinerary yet. We fly home out of Calgary on September 28. I hope to have 3 or 4 weeks to tour before then. The two main factors in what we do will be 1, when the work finishes - in other words how long I have, and 2, how busy a season I have -I.E. how much I can afford to do.

I'll keep you posted as the season progresses.

That's the great part. The photos, trip reports, and videos simply can't capture the feeling of flying over some of these incredible places. I often look back through photos and read old logs to put myself back into those moments and places.

Thanks for taking us along with the pics.

Hi Brett,

I believe nothing can prepare a person for the beauty I am seeing here in Alaska and Coastline British Columbia. It is mind boggling to say the least. Hopefully will get the GoPro filming soon...

I have been following your trip, it is a mega trek for sure and you are handling it well! You are lucky to have a nice family to share it with.

Fly safe!
