In March, 2015 we were "DownUnder" flying around with Tim (DrifterDriver) and Noel in NSW. Had a great time. During the trip we surfed Kirra and Byron on the best surfboard known to mankind ..The Aussie Tiki "Malibu" longboard. In Australia they call it a "Mal" (short for Malibu). Unfortunately the distribution of Tiki surfboards is in question now that the Nielson Brothers closed their shop in Surfer Paradise, QLD. Being a Puulani member (Hawaiian Airlines) gives me free surfboard carry on, so I risked bring the board to Honolulu. It arrived in perfect condition! Now, how will my Aussie gem handle Hawaiian waves? ...Better than the Hawaiian shapes up to about 5-6' !!!

We traveled over to Pokai Bay this weekend and had a blast surfing some small waves in front of the ARMY MWR cabins...

Postscript:

We also saw a baby Humpback Whale. First whale I've seen this year in person. Very small, but, didn't see it's mother.

Many Spinner Dolphins and flying fish were spotted. A Ray jumped out of the water too.
