How tight is the wheel plane transient at LHD likely to be on Friday night? (I normally use MRI.)

Thanks,

It's always a crap shoot. I would think you'd be much more likely to find a spot Friday night vs Saturday morning.

Re: 2018 Great Alaska Aviation Gathering!

Hey guys wasn't sure if I was going to make it, my mechanic had originally scheduled work on the 185. But he now has something else to do so I'll be coming over. Not sure if I'll fly or not, about to start a bathroom remodel and I need to pick up some tile in ANC so if they are open on Saturday I’ll drive over, otherwise probably come over in the 185. When you see me, I’m the tall big guy, please say hi. I can't seem to find my BCP hat so I'm hoping Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can bring me one, but I've got a big head so we will see. See you Saturday.

Guys, hats are gone for the most part. I have a couple small flexfits, and that's about it. I'll bring what I have left but it's elastic for small heads. When the dust clears I'll work on another order of them.

You really think this is a distinguishable description in a room full of pilots?

Phil, I've got a brown BCP flexfit that should do the trick, I was planning on wearing my old one anyway 8)

Ok, made it to the Lakefront! I had to ride the cockpit Jumpseat from Seattle, but people tell me it’ll be worth it. Now to find the bar... 8) 8)

I must say Im pretty bummed that I wont be catching up with you guys today... This will be the first time I've missed the show in a while. I took the past three weeks off to finish my CFI and my hall pass is pretty much revoked. LOL.

I hope the WX improves and you guys have a blast!

We’ll be headed that way shortly. Driving cause we’ve got bathroom remodel stuff to pick up as well. Beautiful, sunny, calm morning here- killing me not to fly. I’ll be wearing a yellow/orange T shirt and probably a black vest. See you all around 10am..

We are missing both of you!

Kurt, Jim Mathis says hello! Zane, AKGreg, Halestorm and I had breakfast with him (and others!) this morning.
