The 15th Annual Valdez Fly In will be May 11-13. Plans are coming together nicely. A slight change for the schedule this year is the Poker Run/Bonfire on the Beach is going to be on the afternoon of Friday the 11th due to more favorable tides. We will have some seminars Friday and the pilot round table Saturday morning. STOL will be Saturday afternoon. Flour Bombing will be Sunday morning and the airshow Sunday afternoon. Gary Ward will once again be joining us for aerobatics. His show along the mountain behind the airport is not to be missed. That might be one of the most unique venues for aerobatics anywhere. Scott Sexton will have his Citabria here and Everts will be demonstrating the mighty C-46. We are going to stream at least Saturday. I will post updates here and our web page (ValdezFlyIn.com) and our facebook page.

We will again have a control tower set up with special frequencies. Please watch the website for the frequencies and procedures. Traffic control has gotten smoother each year and we are most thankful for our Oshkosh veteran volunteer controllers who come up each year.
