206 is on its way home

So I bought my plane 2 months ago and had it flown to ID for some avionics upgrades. While it was there we went ahead and annualled it. It was supposed to be ready the first of August and since we had a family trip planned up there anyway, I was gonna fly it back to TX with my uncle.
Long story short, there were a few squawks and I ended having to buy a ticket home. Sucked but that's the way it goes.

Anyway, good news is the plane is finally finished and the ferry pilot is launching in the morning. I'll have my grubby hands on it by nightfall....hopefully!!

Feel like a new father. If you're in the vicinity I'll buy you a drink and a cigar.

Evan, as much as I follow your posts here on BP I feel like I know you but unfortunately I wasn't at JC this year so not me.
I sure am glad to hear, however, that there's some one out there who's in the same boat as I am.....misery loves company!

Sierra,

I'm glad to hear it's finally on its way home. I hope you gave it a good hug goodnight!

Same drink offer if you make it back to Boise (or anyone for that matter).

Enjoy.

Shoot! Sorry about that. Well congratulations anyhow!

I met a guy at JC this year who was flying a 172 with his son. He showed me pictures of a 206 that he bought from an online auction, sight unseen except some pictures. It all happened so fast he didn't even know how he was going to pay for it! I think he said that it was pretty new and had some nice features and the price he paid was super cheap, for a newer 206 that is.

I cant remember his name (or screen name for that matter).
