24 Hours of Hanksville

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Great TR, Leemer. Brings back lots of fun memories from flying down there, and makes me want to do it again soon! =D>

Re: 24 Hours of Hanksville

Just an update from the Hanksville Airport - KHVE.. Airfield has been in rough shape for a while and Its that time of year pilots are heading to the Desert- Runway has just been repaved, new LED runway/taxi lights, new tie-down area. Looks nice. Dirt runway is in good shape too. Things are looking up! Just need avgas now.

Yes, the 205 is back in the air. We have flown it 4 hours since the new engine and prop. Nice and smooth and climbs much better now. Let go fly!
