25 gravel bars & a funnel cloud

I had 4.5 gallons of gas left so I figured I'd see how many places I could land until I had to get fuel. I also saw some sort of funnel cloud so that was pretty interesting.

Great video! Made me smile the whole time I was watching :)

Re: 25 gravel bars & a funnel cloud

Thanks guys! Too bad about the bugs on the camera but not much I can do at this point.

I was flying again today and the river level dropped a foot or two from yesterday and there were 5 or 6 new bars I was able to land on in the same area, maybe next video I'll do 40

Yes you do! A Savannah and a Mooney would be a great combo!

Its called Washburn Heights, owned buy a guy named Randy Simpson who fly's ultralights out of it. Someone has put a 185 into the trees at the end a little while back... oops! Its a really fun strip tho if 300' works for ya. 8)

Thanks for the motivation Chosstronaut. Yeah those little nose wheel airplanes are just worthless eh? Great video and I must say, my hearing has gotten so bad I couldn't understand a word of that rock and roll song you got playin'. :D

Dude, you were in the ZONE! The hilltop strip was badass! I liked the mowed field/party spot too that you landed a couple times.

Nice shirt by the way!

Also, you should send the video of the funnel cloud to the weather channel. The weather geeks would eat that up!

Haha I love that you also consider places like that to be "party spots" if its mowed and there's a fire ring... game on!

See my other Party Spot Landing Zone at the beginning of this video.

This spot was funny cuz after I first landed I had to get out and move the fire ring so I could use the whole space for take off

I've got a few other party spots I need to check out as well!
