Hello Everyone.

Have some info and a favor to ask. For the MARCH 18 flyin on Lake Winnie (MN.) at the Highbanks resort we have had a inquiry from Ron Scharas TV show to do a segment on our love for airplanes and fishing. See below/
http://www.mnbound.com/c-16-.aspx

They would like to tag along and film our day on the ice and the lunch and some fishing if we get to that. If you have a 4 place airplane like a 180/185 or something big enough and would like to attend, you will be in the spotlight as the shuttle bird for the crew. Maybe 2 guys maybe three if we had room. I think it would be so cool and a great plug for general aviaiton. Thanks, Eric

Wipaire has stepped in to shuttle our media crew to the flyin. Thanks Turbo Beaver, Wip, and chief Pilot Mark Mathisen.

Pork sandwiches, beans, chips, cookies, and coffee or pop will be on the menu.

Hope to see lots of aircraft and pilots. Show off your airplane and get a little TV footage describing what you fly and where you came from. We have a butt load of snow up here and March should be the best ski month for many years. See you on the 18th of March!!!

Lots of nice snow up here. There is a ice road east/west plowed that can be landed on if you can keep it straight. It is about 100' wide and very long. A little dogleg in it but not too bad.

10 door prizes for the following:

Oldest pilot
youngest pilot
newest plane
oldest plane
most perch
largest perch
first airplane
first woman pilot
farthest flown
first experimental

Bring a bucket and some poles to fish with. We will have holes drilled and several sites selected to fish based on the bite. Hope yo see you
