337 for 206 nosefork

Hello all, I'm looking to change out from stock tires (and little boy pants on the wheels) to somewhat larger tires. I have a 310/206 nosefork, and I'm hoping someone will share their 337 used to get approval - in AK would be preferable, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm looking to go with 8.00x6's on the mains, with a 6 or 7x7 on the nose. Thanks in advance . . .

It may help if I knew what plane you want it for. If you want one for a 182B, let me know.

In Alaska, it should be much easier I would think. I am sure you meant a 600x6 or a 700x6 for the nose.

Sorry, yes I should have mentioned it's for a '58 182A. Also, I was referring to a 6.00 or 7.00 x 6. Thanks . . .

I have several 337's for 172's and 175's. Your best bet is Northern Aviation in Anchorage. The most comprehensive 337 I have came from them. I called up there once and I think they said around $200 to do it if you had all the parts, don't quote me on price it was a few years ago.

Seems like about half the planes up there have it done so I think any mechanic could do it for you. Alaska is a little more open minded that the lower 48 ( or was it 52?, I'll have to ask Mr. OB #-o )

PM me your email and I'll send you what I have if you want.

How I got the ones I have was to watch Alaska Craigslist, or alaskaslist.com. When a cessna like yours is advertized with big tires just order their paperwork from ffa.gov. CD's are cheaper than paper copies.
