360 camera mounting

I will most likely fashion a mount for a 360-3 camera. Was wondering how far in front of the wing should it be.

Re: 360 camera mounting

The further in front the more it looks like you are following a drone. I like the lens more forward than the prop.

I have a telescoping carbon fiber pole that actually allows for the power cable to be threaded inside the pole. Yes I use a power cord as I hate batteries running out at the moment of the money shot.

I wired my wings with a power box in the wing wired to the airplanes power and a switch on the panel to turn the power on and off. Running action cams sans battery helps to have them not overheat which is a common complaint among the masses.

Hope that helps

Note: The telescoping pole I have is no longer available last I saw, but there should be plenty out there if you search.
