3D Printed Case for the Maule Fabric Tester

My kids and I have been learning about 3D printing. Also, an old Maule Fabric Tester that I picked up used didn't have a case. So we designed one. Here's a link in case you'd like to print your own!

Or if you want one and don't have a friend with a 3D printer, get in touch and we'll make one for you.

This is carbon fiber stranded PETG. Neat filament, tough stuff. Goes through nozzles though.

Just wait until you find all the 3D printable RC model’s available. I’ve printed a Tucano, motor glider and a Bugatti 100p. Tempted to pull the trigger on Millennium Falcon STL files.

Nice case! I've seen some simple 3-D printing projects like nobs and such in the EAB group at EAA. It's an interesting addition to owner built parts. FWIW, I just read an article that 3-D printers are now in the sights of BATF. The article said they're monitoring sales of 3-D printers and supplies through Paypal, Amazon, and other online services. Dunno if that will be a wet blanket for EAB and others who want to print parts for their own personal aviation uses.
