I keep scrolling past this thread-- my first thought when I read the thread title made me think "that's kinda cold for North Texas on Labor Day"

Pete-

Sorry, I don't get it. Literally speaking it won't be cold and will likely still be hot. The holiday is usually the first Monday in September, right? That weekend starts 4 Sep. Did I get something wrong here?

If you are referring to 50F.... that is the airport identifier.

Well, plan on coming to see whether it does hit 50 degrees Fahrenheit.... my bet it doesn't. But ya'll are welcome... the food and conversation will be good. The flying should be fun.

As for the airport designator.... the FAA picked that out not me.... have you guys ever heard of context?

Sure, I've heard of context, but I amuse myself so easily with my various follies.

Sounds like a great fly in.

Shuttles to and from the hotel...

It's going to be fun and maybe not even hot.... it for sure won't be 50 degeres F.... 50F is the designator;)
