58' 182 My first attempt at an Aviation related movie.

I made this short movie a couple of weeks ago of my friend Kirk and his 58 Cessna 182.

Please let me know what you guys think.

I have a 2nd version of this that includes an interview that I am working on.

Nicely done. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the simple things like the hangar door opening.

The hangar door opening is what caught my interest to watch the rest of the video. I wondered, Why is this obviously quite old hangar door so easy to open? There must be more interesting stuff to come. There was.

Yeah, there is a cub video floating around that has a similar shot. One of my favorites. I've been trying to emulate it for my footage library. The hanger I've been renting doesn't have the right orientation to get the lighting quite right, but I did get a variation on the theme a couple weeks ago. Look for this clip in one of my upcoming movies...

Thanks guys, this is the first time I have ever done anything like this, it really means a lot to me.

We are going to hopefully remake this video with a interview portion and a couple of more shots thrown in for good measure.

In the next couple of years I may actually buy this airplane from him seeing as how it is a 58, and the one I started really learning to fly in was a 58 as well. I'd really like to get this one and run it for a couple of years then do a tail wheel conversion on it.
