You should make your own thread for this... no one will notice if it's in the thread for another unrelated fly-in.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Update!

Weather looks to be decent for this fly-in. NWS forecasts temps in the 90's 8) with possible 10% chance of T storms in the evening. Weather .Com forecasts partly cloudy, same temps. Be a great day for a morning flight.

Hope to see some of you here, I'll most likely be flippen hot cakes, or be some where close.

See ya, Bub

Oh just added the post to get it to the top of the recent topics.

Come and get it!

OK, here is the menu,

12 gallons orange juice, 12 gallons milk, lot's of coffee, 2 cases bacon, 2 cases sausage patties, 2 sliced whole honey hams, 10 dozen eggs, 60 pounds of pancake batter, 5 gallons syrup.

Lions club needs to serve 80-85 to break even, so come on out for that $100. breakfast. :) Breakfast starts at 7 am, I'll be there by 6 am to start the coffee and heat the griddles.

Fly safe, gear down and locked, close your flight plan. :D

Yes a Success!

Breakfast was a good success this year. Served over 200! :D

Got to meet some BCP folks from Salem, whom flew over in a couple of very nice 180s and a nice looking 182. Hopefully I didn't drool to much  on them, and their flights back were smooth and uneventful. Thanks, Guy, John, Tom and Ray for making the trip.

Just an FYI, all procedes from this event go to local projects, Lions sight and hearing, a scholarship program. Burns Lions gave out $105,000.00 to 23 local students this year for scholarships.

This year the Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association club made a little over $100 on their poker run. I look forward to that getting bigger as years go by. Heaven forbid I may have to trade my plane for  a Harley with the price of av gas being what it is. Also got to watch a drag race between a snowmobile and a Harley. Wow some major horse power there

Anyway thanks to those who made it, and made this successful.

Look forward to the BCP@JC show in a couple of weekends.

See ya, Bub
