6th time the charm?

Got my registration packet back from the reg branch for the 5th time over an 8 month period today. Talk about frustation. I've done exactly what they asked for the last 3 times. Every supervisor that looks at it wants something different.

All my headaches stemmed from a Bill of Sale signature block being signed INC on one bill of sale they already had on file vs the being signed LLC on the one I got from the seller which was a typo. Because the two didn't match the feds said it must of been two seperate people  I had to submit an ammendment to change it which has no guidance whatsoever. I typed it up as fancy as I could, spent several months trying to track down the seller, sent it in and they sent it back because they didn't like it. I've since edited it three times and sent it back.

The last paperwork arrived on their desk on Dec 29th. I was tired of waiting so I called today. The person I talked with said all I should have needed to do was scratch out the LLC put INC and initial it and send the bill of sale back in. That would have saved me about 4 months of hassle.

Crazy how much the rules differ depending on who looks at the paperwork. Sorry for my rant. Add one more to the list of believing the adage "Were not happy till your not happy"

I sense your sarcasm. I've tried really hard to keep an open mind throughout this whole process. The thought of LLC vs INC on a piece of paper keeping me sitting on the ground is pretty frustrating though.

I attempted to get my PPL, I took ground school thru the local community college, took and passed the test, then a friend lent me an airplane to fly off my time to license. I have all the required dual time except for five night landings and 60 some hours solo. After 13 months the FAA gave me a pass on my medical, unfortunately my friend sold the plane, I in turn bought it from a third party and by then my ground school had expired. It would seem to me they could have said, we understand you have Diabetes, we understand you take oral medication, we will require you to under go a medical exam every year. That took me about three minutes to type, spell check and all, my total investment spiraled down the toilet, the plane was sold, out the dual time so far. I may be able to use it when I try to attain a Sport Pilots License. 13 months for a simple reply! (sucks)

While aviation has made the world a smaller place, if you fall, it's still hard to miss!

The Good Lord does not deduct those days from our alloted quota, spent fishing, flying or with our Grandchildren.......

I believe that the FAA has changed that slogan of, "We're not happy until your unhappy". The new slogan is: " We have upped our standards, Now UP YOURS!"

Did alot of restorations of antiques that didn't have airworthiness cert's and other stuff and we had a saying when the paperwork equaled the weight of the airplane it was ready to fly
