25 miles SE of Portland, Oregon in the shadow of Mt. Hood.

This is definitely worth your time. The whole event is beautiful. This is the 1 time a year we can land on this private turf strip.

Planes, Hot Rods, Bikes, Music, Food. What more could you want? Last year 30-40 planes, 300-400 Hot Rods.

Temporary Unicom 122.8. Traffic pattern is usually right landing east left landing west.

I'll be there by 7. I hope to see some BCPer there.

This one is special I swear!!!!

Cheers...Rob

Hey Rob,
is that road running across the runway anything to worry about?

I agree that this one is special. It is very organized and handy. Plenty of shade and plenty of sun, whatever you want. Lots of porta johns and not just in one spot but all over the grounds. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. Was that you parked on the north side of the strip near the east end Rob? I was the yellow stinson that did two go-arounds. Just as I got in the pattern a cherokee took off to the west so I assumed they were landing that direction. They waved me off and it took two tries landing to the east. It was tough to see the uphill grade from the air. They never mentioned on the radio that they were landing to the east and departing to the west till after the wave off.
My wife loved it and wants to arrive earlier next year.
Thanks for posting it Rob.
