The Idaho Division of Aeronautics pulled their funding for the annual McCall Family Fly-in, but the city has decided to hold their own airport day. Saturday, July, 7th. Here's a link to the website. I guess they're expecting a C130, some A10s, and a P-51. Should be a fun day if you're in the area. The Idaho Aviation Association will be BBQing (I think).

Did anyone get to this event? If so how was it?

McCall is such a neat place, snowmobiled and snow boarded up there in the winter, golfed a bit in the summer, but dag nab it, haven't got to fly in there yet.

The C130 made it, and the mustang. There was a Beaver and a couple other planes on display as well. I didn't even get to spend any time out there; we had a pretty good lightening show the night before and it set off 18 fires in the Payette National Forest, so we were flying air attack on a couple of the bigger ones. I timed out for the day, as did all the SEATs and helicopters.
