700x6 in a HD 206 fork???
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
About a year and a half ago I got the field approval for the HD fork on my 182Q. I've been running 800x6 on the mains and a 600x6 on the nose as per the field approval. I'd like to step up one more tire size, 850x6 on the mains and a 700x6 on the nose. My mechanic has found approval paper work for the 850's on the mains but we can't track anything down that says that a 700x6 is suitable in the HD 182/206 fork. Anyone have any ideas?

I ran a 7” tire in a 206 nose fork for several years. I even had a FA. I would not recommend it though. I went back to a 6” tire and was glad I did. With any buildup of mud or debris the 7” tire is going to rub the inside of the fork. And if you have any, even a slight amount of wheel bearing play, it is going to shimmy and rub the fork.
The fork was made for a 6” tire. A 7” is just too tight IMO.

making 'em spin. . .
You’ll need to do another field approval...or just run it.
I found not all 7.00 x 6 fit in the HD fork. I ran a Desser Air Hawk (more “square” profile) whereas an Air Trac rubbed.
