'73 182P Cargo Tie Downs

Good Day All,

When the Cessna 73 182P was last carpeted, the tie downs in the rear for cargo were obviouly removed. Looking for some help on this subject. I am looking to place a cargo net in the rear behind the rear seat that attaches to four corner points....essentially putting the gear underneath the cargo net. I am not looking to remove the rear seat and install a vertical cargo net.

I have both the maintenace manuals and the parts manual and cannot seem to find the attach points in the manuals or a part number for a cargo tie down hook. But the manuals are small print and the eyes are getting older!!

Were there 4 or 6 tie down points behind the rear seat?

I can see 2 places where a cargo tie down may be attached. But only 2. They look like two threaded holes of two different sizes that a tie down ring may be attached.

Some help and direction would be great!!

Cheers

Re: '73 182P Cargo Tie Downs

Check the POH possibly for a better view of the tie down points. The 206s POH is better than the IPC for Cargo Tie down info.
