8.50 main tires on c182

I found that the Micro Aero VG's on my M5 enhanced the aileron authority at slower speeds, more than anything else. I think it may have reduced the stall speed by 3 mph (how's that for subjective analysis???). My aircraft is rigged well, so it stalls evenly...and with the VG's it is even more stable.

Oh, I have 8.50's on the main gear, 22psi

Since the tire pressure would vary with gross weight, I go by what Jeremy posted a while back. The correct pressure is whatever it takes to just lift the outermost groove in the tire off of the ground.
I think it was Jeremy, if it wasn't, well I apologize for mis quoting you Jeremy.
Anyway that seems to be a real common sense "test" that you can always verify on pre-flight without removing the wheel cap.

Well I'll forgive you A64, since I said that and you confused us, it may Pi** off Jeremy though. Unless he has a beer gut too!
Using that method is how I've done it for years and seems darn close. Never an air guage around when you need it.

Skylane,
I stand corrected, and do apologize. Your method passes the KISS check rather well.
