NO. 1 BRITISH FLYING TRAINING SCHOOL MUSEUM ANNUALLY PRESENTS “FLIGHTS OF OUR FATHERS” WEEKEND
The weekend events include a reunion of the British pilots who were trained at the 1st British Flying Training School during WWII. Also, this year the theme will include a salute to veterans of all branches of the services, recognizing the honor and valor of our fallen service men and women, including the ultimate sacrifice of five young men from the City of Terrell.

All-day happenings include: Talks by Tom Killebrew, author of “The RAF in Texas” and Dr. Calvin Spann, WWII Tuskegee Airman; static plane demonstrations; plane rides; food & more! MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3:00 pm at Terrell’s Oakland Memorial Cemetery for the 20 BFTS cadets (killed while in training) who are buried there.
