EAA Chapter 1135 is hosting a Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast followed by CAP lunch on Saturday September 20th. This is the weekend AFTER the Reno Air Races. The Fly-In will run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; early arrivals are welcome. Breakfast is free to pilots who fly-in.

Fuel credits may be available on a first come first serve basis. The details will be posted at www.elkoflyin.com when they are available so be sure to check before the fly-in. If you have a Warbird, Antique, or unique aircraft or know someone who does, please PM me ASAP to arrange significant fuel compensation.

Discounted motel rooms are also available on a first come first serve basis. The Stockmans Hotel and Casino (775-738-5141) has 20 rooms discounted to $36/night and the High Desert Inn (775-738-8425) has rooms discounted to $59/night. Be sure to tell them you are with Sky Fair when making reservations to get the discount.

As a plus, the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival is the same weekend. About 30 ballons will launch from Spring Creek - about 10 miles SE of EKO just after sunrise on Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday. Visit http://www.rubymountainballoonfestival.com/index.htm for more info.
