Amended time due to the hog roaster guy's schedule.
Instead of starting at 12:00 noon, we now are starting at 3:00 PM.

Once again, a hog roast and everything thing is free! Bring your chair and camping stuff. John

Hey Patrol Guy,

How is this fly-in looking? I am watching the weather for Saturday and hoping it is good enough to make it out there. It is about a 3 hour flight. My wife is coming and we are sleeping over.

Is there fuel on the field? If not it looks like there are plenty of fields close by. Looking forward to the trip!

You guys should have Greg Swingle from "A Newbie's Trip" give a program and slide show about his Alaska experience "This is how I remember it". He's in your neck of the wood's. If I could get there I love to hear it.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

He is going to be there. You should be too! It's only 70 miles east of London.

Not sure about a slide show, but campfire - beer stories for sure.

Skystrider. Weather is looking good. There will be a few others camping over also. Other local pilots come back for Sunday breakfast. Looking forward to meeting you two. John & Deb

Saturday is 100% chance of showers, a 1,000 ft ceiling and 2 miles visibility! I think I might need a submarine to get to the fly-in!

It rained all day Saturday with, maybe, 500 ceilings. On Sunday the only difference was that it rained harder! It looked like eastern Ohio was right on the edge of the rain. Hope the fly-in wasn't affected!

It turned out great. It looked iffy for a while. Besides the more local pilots, we had four supercub.org folks make it in, one from Kansas! ...and a couple guys from Herron field in West Virginia, ........and one guy from Anchorage, AK!!!! You wold have liked to see this great looking 31 inch tired Maul. Maybe next year??
