912UL - Kitfox 4 Bing Carb Saga Continues
Sometimes the most fun way to get into the backcountry, Part 103 Ultralights and Light Sport Aircraft have their own considerations.
I just ordered a FI system from EDGE, don't care what it costs, it just seems like the people I know that have done so rave about it and it started to make me feel like I wasn't one of the cool kids.

I am pretty sure you will be impressed with a injected 912. I thought my UL was smooth until I rode in a factory injected 912 and a UL 912 with a Edge system on it. If it wasn’t for modifications to cowl, fuel tanks and installation of a header tank I would have gone that way.

https://youtu.be/UCMQPFdUtmYnewest tuning video is up. Almost through this tuning process and calling it done.
In regards to the injected 912, I can understand the desire for that setup, but cannot mentally justify the investment relative to what engine its being bolted onto. At the end of the day, were looking at an 80 HP engine from the mid 1990's. To spend that level of money on an antiquated engine just makes zero sense to me - id rather take that 3 to 4 thousand and push that into a Nytro engine or anther FI platform that has a bit more present day technology and engineering behind it. Yes, the rotax is a decent and dependable engine, but there are others out there just waiting to be found.
