Well he finally got there. It wasn't direct. He started in easten Ohio, then Boulder, then Seatle, Canada somewhere, Fort St.John, Ft. Nelson, Whitehorse, etc. to Anchorage.

That guy's blog is pretty entertaining. Sounds like a great trip. I wonder if he's registered here?

Is anyone still following his trip? Sounds like he got quite an education on density altitude in Idaho.

I'm curious as to which airport Skyler landed at in Utah........ sounds to me like the old Tooele airport where the Groen Brothers used to test their gyrocopters. Its closed now.

Wish'd I'd have known he was in town. I'd offer my basement.

Hey I'm new to this site but have been following you guys in Ohio cause I'm in Indiana and am liviin on your great trips, pics and tips. Gregs Wingle is an epic story. Anyway I was in London, OH today at a farm show and I look up a see a Scout fly over and only wonder if that was Patrol Guy? What would be the odds but I thought I would ask.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Funny story, but the newer Tooele airport is only a few miles to the north. He had to have seen it or knew it was there, you would think.

I got this email from "Greg on the Adventure Guy" today. I am not sure what to make of this, other then, not to tow anything for a while??? pg

dude, i woke up from my tent, or someone else's actually this morning with this strangeass dream stuck in my mind. U were in a cherry red, weathered scout or fabric simmilar, maybe smaller, airplane. it had strange homemade looking skis on it. you were doing some crazy manuveur where you were dragging a heavy object by rope. you released it and then flew over to it to cinch it up closer to the plane. that all went well, but then you fell out of the sky like a hundred ft. i didn't go over to the carnage, but some old guy i was with did. then in the next scene you were fine other than a huge gaping cut in your upper arm. only you wern't you. you were that bald guy playing the ukelalie in that video about bush planes. it was weird, but none the less con cuidado ole boy.

Patrol Guy it is for sale. It is a 1941 J5A Cub with a C85 on the front. I have owned it for 9 years waiting for my Husky opportunity. Anyone interested? PM me with your email and I'll forward the specs and more pictures
